Best Thing: majestic score
It starts with the blue light sculpture that commemorated 9/11 - Trade Centre - the characters are bathed in this tragic aura from the get-go.
As we follow one man - Ed Norton - as he spends his last 24 hours free b/f entering jail
What would you do in your last 24 hours? Who is the sum of your life, and what would your friends and family do for you to protect you or save you from your future? This is a warning sign about living every day like you last.
Also depicts one of the most moving representations of a father and son showing the folly of a father, his damaging weakness but his over-arching love for his son.
Naturelle - she symbolises desire...so just rent it you won't regret it. Spike Lee is a genius.
