When rival figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy go ballistic in an embarrassing, no-holds-barred fight at the World Championships, they are stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life. Now, three-and-a-half years on, they've found a loophole that will allow them to compete: if they can put aside their differences, they can skate together - in pairs - figure skating.

Wil Ferrell. The man has a golden touch when it comes to comedy, establishing himself as the biggest name in the genre this decade with his crazy, high-energy characters. He made you laugh as a NASCAR racer, a news reporter and an insane frat boy - picture him in spandex and prepare to laugh.
2Jon Heder. Since becoming a star thanks to his amazing performance in Napoeleon Dynamite, Heder has yet to land another break-out role - Blades of Glory is set to change that.
3Will Arnett & Amy Poehler. The hottest married couple in comedy, both come to the film with an extensive background in improvisational comedy and a built-in following. Poehler has been a key player on Saturday Night Live during the last few seasons, while Arnett carved a place into our hearts as bumbling magician Gob on Arrested Development.
The film was delayed for a short period when Jon Heder broke his ankle while practicing a routine.
The film contains many references to famous skating routines and moments, such as the 2002 Olympics which saw two competitors forced to share the gold medal, homages to Torvill & Dean routines and Tonya Harding's disgraced career. >
