In 1997, adventurer and teacher, Sabriye Tenberken, established the first and only school in Lhasa for children who are blind. Until she came along, her students had little hope of education or independence. The inspirational Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind man to climb Everest, offers to take her students to the top of the world's highest mountain.
