Raymond Ray Ray Morales is spinning his wheels in a nowhere job in Jersey City until he impresses the local loan shark Alphonso Chunks. Chunks puts Ray Ray in charge of making sure Kutty, an indebted Armenian pawnbroker, makes all his payments. The two hit it off, and Ray Ray is forced to pick between his new friend and the man who could destroy him in this warm portrait of a young man's tough choices.
