A vivacious and talented blonde actress and comedian, Montreal-born Caroline Rhea (pronounced "RAY") achieved TV stardom as the eccentric and fun-loving Aunt Hilda to "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" (ABC, 1996- ). The youngest of three girls, she claims that by the age of eight she knew she would have a career in show business. After making her film debut in a bit role in "Meatballs II" (1984), Rhea eventually moved to NYC where she quickly became a fixture on the comedy circuit, delighting audiences with her self-deprecating wit. It was only a matter of time before she began to be featured on TV specials and comedy shows like "Women Aloud" (Comedy Central, 1992) and "Six Comics in Search of a Generation" (Lifetime, 1992). She wrote for the 1993 VH-1 sketch comedy "Fools for Love" before landing the regular role of a working mother on the short-lived NBC sitcom "Pride & Joy" (1995). After a brief stint as correspondent for Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" in 1996, Rhea landed the steady gig of playing the zany Hilda Spellman, one of two authority figures helping to raise the half-mortal, half-witch Sabrina on the hit ABC sitcom.
