Discovered by a manager in Hollywood because of his brooding good looks, David Boreanaz had his first break with a guest role in a 1993 episode of "Married...With Children"(FOX) playing wild daughter Kelly Bundy's biker boyfriend. Boreanaz began his movie career with behind the scenes work in films like "Best of the Best 2" as a props assistant, and has also appeared in many commercials. He has acted in stage productions including "A Hatful of Rain" and "Fool for Love". Dark-haired and striking, Boreanaz is well-known for his work in the hit TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (The WB) as the vampire Angel, Buffy's unlikely love interest and netherworld ally. He joined the series in a recurring role in 1997 and viewers were instantly drawn to the tormented character. His intense portrayal earned him many fans and admirers.
