Fantastic Four (2005) - User Reviews

I honestly think the script was fun, a family kind of fun. The fact that action heroes were exposed to the public allows for a somewhat true representation of our own reactions, and that was certainly interesting. Hey I sure felt scared and cringed a little at the sight of "The Thing". The movie had a great balance of characters, from your evil warlord, to your sweet, innocent and gorgeous heroine who everyone admires and have their heart skip a beat when she's on screen. It had loads of amazing effects, but my favourite would have to be "The Human Torch" excavating himself a hotspring bath in the ski slopes, but their powers don't compare to that of X-Men.. hey someone had to say it.

In summary, the momentum from start to 3/4 of the way through the movie was totally fun and engaging, but it really failed with such a weak and short ending. I'm hopeful though that there will be a part II.
