This film began so badly. I would have left Peter too. What a slob and so sorry for himself. Once he got to Hawaii and the rest of the good cast came to life the film improved. The performance of Russell Brand as Aldous Snow was absolutely spot on and very funny. Mila Kunis as Rachael was also very good and maybe the only likeable character in the whole film.

It did get funnier after the half way point, probably when Peter stopped feeling so sorry for himself and stopped whingeing quite so much. It became more of a "real" story - with the Rachael character bringing in some of her life to the story.

Too many sex scenes used - unnecessary to my mind, and the Christian honeymoon couple who had sexual problems was a quite distasteful thread to this movie.

For such an awful film I actually quite enjoyed myself - good entertainment with plenty of laughs after the initially dull and cringeingly bad first half hour.
