Jumper (2008) - User Reviews

I really loved this movie because it was full of action (and I love the action). However, the plot could have used some work. They could have made it a longer movie and taken the time to give us background to the Palidans and David's family better. I think they left a lot of questions hanging unanswered. Did David's father live? (though I believe it is implied that he is dead), what is it that the Palidan's believe about these Jumpers, when and why did they start hunting them. There is just so much that was left hanging. Despite that weakness, however, I am a sucker for the action sequences and this movie was, as I said, full of them. I loved it because the acting, the camera work, the effects, etcetera were all really great! I still think it is a very good movie worth two thumbs up, but better work on the plot would have made it even better... oscar worthy.
