Lust Caution (2008) - User Reviews

Ang Lee tells a tale of students caught up in a world of intrigue far more dangerous than they realise. This movie is visually stunning. The acting is superb. The storyline is interesting, one cannot help but be moved by the end of the film.

Be warned that the sex scenes are explicit. I appreciate a good sex scene but felt that there were too many, and perhaps the movie could have done with less.

I was horrified at one point, as the group of students decide to sacrifice the virginity of one for the ends of many - I felt this was really too much to ask but I suppose it underscored how strongly they felt about their cause.

Not for the faint of heart.
