  • 2000: Co-starred with Chow Yun Fat in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", helmed by Ang Lee; premiered at Cannes
  • 2000: Signed five-year joint venture with Media Asia Group to produce and star in films under her own banner Mythical Films
  • 1997: Announced as the new "Bond girl" for "Tomorrow Never Dies", the 18th James Bond feature; played Pierce Brosnan's sidekick (billed as Michelle Yeoh)
