Crime
Based on characters created by Carolyn Keene, "Nancy Drew" follows Nancy as she accompanies her father, Carson Drew to Los Angeles on one of his business trips and stumbles across evidence of a long-unsolved crime involving the mysterious death of a beautiful movie star. Nancy's resourcefulness and personal responsibility are put to the test when she finds herself in the middle of the fast-living, self-indulgent world of Hollywood.

Emma Roberts. The daughter of genre legend Eric Roberts has been rising in Hollywood since appearing in the 2001 film Blow. As Julia Robert's niece, it isn't hard to imagine how bright this star will shine.
2Rachael Leigh Cook. The former It Girl of the late 90s teen-film fad, Cook has been away from the spotlight beginning a family and starting her own production company. Look for her to quickly return to form in her role as Jane Brighton.
3The History. With 231 different Nancy Drew Mystery books available so far, producers had no shortage of stories from which to construct the film's plotline.
The four Nancy Drew films made in the 1930s, Nancy Drew: Detective, Nancy Drew: Reporter, Nancy Drew: Trouble Shooter, and The Hidden Staircase, will be released as a DVD set three days before the new film is in cinemas.
The film serves as a reunion for Amy Bruckner, Kay Panabaker and Josh Flitter, who had all previously worked together on the 2004 animated series Phil of the Future.

Corky (Josh Flitter) tries to ask out Nancy (Emma Roberts), but is interrupted by a speeding SUV.
