'Smart People' is the darkly comic story of Lawrence Wetherhold, a widowed and unhappy English professor, who has alienated his son and turned his daughter into an overachieving, friendless teen. This is a movie that makes you feel good. At the start it seemed that all the main characters were a bunch of jerks but it developed into a touching story ...
