Spider-Man 3
When last we checked in with Peter Parker aka The Amazing Spider-Man, things were finally beginning to look up for the wall-crawling superhero; work was steady at the Daily Bugle, he had confessed his love and secret identitiy to Mary Jane Watson, and the two looked set to embark on a serious relationship together. It isn't long, however, until Spidey is battling Venom and Sandman, new villains that are systematically tearing his life apart, while his best friend Harry Osborn deals with the secret knowledge of Peter's alter ego. Will Spider-Man be able to rise to the occasion and prove, once and for all, that with great power comes great responsibility, or will he give in to anger, hurt and - most importantly - the darkness that lurks within? Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to MJ and his duties as a superhero. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon. When his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality that he is struggling to control. Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes overconfident and starts to neglect the people who care about him most.
