Transformers (2007) - User Reviews

This movie grabs you right from the start. I went in expecting to wait 30 minutes to see the first transformer but in the first five minutes you get one with heaps of action as well and then the movie plot starts to unfold.

Now I thought this movie might fall down on the human side of the story and only really have good special FX to make it good but I was wrong, the human part of the story was great and theres lot of comedy in there as well even from the Transformers.

And then bring on the Transformers and they dont disappoint, the effects are absolute gold and there is definitely enough there to keep you going. I am not a diehard fan so I dont know if it has kept them happy or not but I did use to watch the cartoon when I was younger and I am a big sci-fi film fan.

My only gripe is the stupid shaky cam which they use in the action sequences which seems so popular these days although I dont know why as it makes it hard to see what is going on.


This movie has saved the Summer (Winter) movie fest where so many others before it have let us down.

I defnitely plan to watch this movie again as there is too much in there to take in on one screening. I recommend anyone to go see it and give it a 9/10.
