Apocalypse Now Redux (2001)

In early 2001, 22 years after "Apocalypse Now" was released, Francis Ford Coppola returned to the material and released this expanded and re-edited version that adds 53 minutes of footage excised from the original. Adapted from the novella Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, this epic drama depicts the Vietnam War as a descent into primal madness. Stars Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall and Dennis Hopper.
