Tom Thumb (2001)

A re-working of the classic fable of Tom Thumb, this film follows a boy who is cruelly rejected by his peasant parents and constantly bullied by his four elder brothers. Following the outbreak of civil war, he and his siblings are left to fend for themselves in an enchanted forest, where they encounter dangerous predators hiding in every dark corner.
