Evening (2007)

Adapted by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham from the best selling novel by Susan Minot. The film explores the romantic past and emotional present of Ann Grant and her daughters. As Ann lays dying, she reflects on the time in her youth when she met the love of her life, a man she has never forgotten. Incredibly romantic and deeply moving, "Evening" is a film about the moments in life that define one's future. It is about decisions made at an impulse that effect a lifetime, and most of all it is about true love and knowing when it finds you.
