Lars and the Real Girl (2008)

Lars lives in a small northern US town with brother and sister-in-law, who are delighted when he finally brings home the girl of his dreams. The only problem is that she's not real - she's a life sized doll ordered over the internet. His sister-in-law is worried for him, his brother thinks he's nuts, but eventually, advised by their well meaning doctor Dagmar they go along with his delusion, and Lars embarks on a journey to uncover the true meaning of love.
