Synopsis
Legendary singer and composer Seeger always believed that music could be a force for good, that an issue needed a song: from the Depression to civil rights, McCarthyism to freedom of speech, the environment to the Iraq war. With his 50s band, The Weavers, he recorded several hits before being blacklisted by the House Un-American Activities Committee.
