Brendan and the Secret of Kells (2009)

Little red-headed Brendan loves listening to the stories told by his fellow monks, but his dallying gets him into trouble with his stern uncle, the Abbot. He's supposed to be helping reinforce the monastery walls to keep out the wicked Northmen. One day the great illustrator, Brother Aiden of Iona, arrives carrying the fabulous Book of Kells that he's trying to keep safe from the Northern invaders. In a series of magical forest adventures, Brendan hunts for the objects that Aiden needs to finish the Book.
