Sunset Strip (2000)

Twenty-four hours on the Sunset Strip in 1972, as seen through the eyes of seven struggling artists looking for fame: Tammy, a clothing designer with a shop located next to the Whiskey-a-Go-Go; Glen, an up and coming country star; Duncan a visiting Scottish superstar; Zack a novice musician who believes the soul of Jimi Hendrix speaks through his guitar; Felix an alcoholic songwriter; Shapir, a hustling agent with a white-boy Afro; and Michael, a colorblind photographer who finds out he has a venereal disease.
