My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002)

This comedy follows Toula, a Greek-American woman who is in her early thirties, single and still works at her parents' restaurant. In the process of improving her life, she falls in love with a man who is seemingly perfect, except for two things - he's not Greek and he's a vegetarian. Stars Nia Vardalos, John Corbett and Gia Carides. Adapted from the one-woman off-Broadway show written by and starring Nia Vardalos.
