Synopsis
In the small mining town of Papayal, a woman and her lover steal gold from miner El Gallego and flee. Left behind, the woman's daughter Isabel is forced to pay her mother's debt by working as a prostitute. Unable to escape the town, Isabel is desperate until she meets young miner Cae and falls in love.
