Synopsis
In the early 1930s, as the Facists come to power, Orfeo and Nella Mancini flee Italy with their children. Mistakenly ending up in France, the Mancinis settle into Marseilles' lively immigrant quarter. As the political situation worsens, the family finds strength in their community and hope in each other.
