Azhagiya Tamilmagan (2007)

Azhigiye Tamil Magan (meaning handsome Tamilian) marks a very important phase in Tamil cinema as popular actor Vijay plays a double role for the very first time in his 15 year film career. This drama revolves around two characters namely Guru and Prasad, both played by Vijay himself. The film focuses mainly on their contrasting characteristics - one is a hooligan (the villain) by nature whilst the other is a loyalist (the hero). How their respective life styles influence each other forms the crux of this film which has been produced on a grand scale.
