2007 A.D. Nobody saw it coming. As the Russian republics split apart, no one knew who was responsible for what. While both sides were trying to figure it out, something leaked -- a small toxic chemical. It rolled through Eastern Europe, moving west like a giant wave of death. They called it a "virulent microphage." When the United States saw the potential for the disease on its home shores, it put the recent immigrants into quarantine camps. There were two worlds -- the sick and the healthy. No one wanted in, and no one got out. The police force was stretched to the limit as they tried to maintain the sense of law and order they were sworn to protect. General Waxman of the U.S. Army and Phillip Stearns, a CIA operative, enter the city of Boston in contamination suits. They have only six hours to find an escapee from a mental hospital. If they don't succeed, a blood bomb containing the virus will go off, either killing most of the population or turning them into raving psychotics.
