Judging by the exhilarating latest trailer for 'Prometheus' - Scott's return after 30 years to the genre that rocketed him to stardom - things are about to change.

Not surprisingly, really, considering that 'Prometheus', as Scott puts it, shares "strands of Alien's DNA" — a fact that's more evident than ever in the new trailer.

The dark and claustrophobic atmospheres that were so important to achieve the ominous feeling of 'Alien' are back, enriched by cinematography and visual effects that seem ready to put Avatar's milestone 3D achievements to shame.

Watch this trailer by yourself in a dark room, with your headphones on, and we guarantee your heart will start pounding as fast the manic soundtrack and the hairs on the back of your neck will stand up faster than an android on the Nostromo spaceship.

Make no mistake, 'Prometheus' is, as any Scott or Alien fan would tell you, a big deal -- the kind that cause a lot of anticipation and are burdened by the mammoth task of living up to ridiculously high expectations.
