Nick Gordon enters rehab

Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown

Nick Gordon has reportedly entered rehab following an intervention conducted by psychologist Dr Phil McGraw.

The 25-year-old star is seeking professional help after his mental state seemingly spiralled out of control following his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown's submission to hospital on January 31.

Dr Phil flew to Atlanta on Wednesday (04.03.15) to access the troubled hunk after his family begged him to help him following his disturbing outbursts on Twitter in recent days, according to the MailOnline.

According to a press release for the upcoming show, Nick "expresses the severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks he says he has been suffering since Brown was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her home in January and over the tragic loss of Whitney Houston three years ago."

During the meeting, Nick reportedly broke down and even threatened to kill himself if anything happened to Bobbi, 22.

The intervention will air on Dr. Phil's show on March 11 and will also see Nick's mother Michelle expressing her concern.

In a scene, Michelle - who speaks to Nick every day - told Dr Phil: "Nicholas is at breaking point. He cannot take too much more of not being able to see Krissi. He blames himself. As we sit here right now, my son's life hangs in the balance."

Nick initially sparked concern over his well-being when he took to his social networking site on Tuesday (03.03.15) and said he was "so hurt" he wanted to do himself "in."

The star was reportedly banned from visiting the aspiring actress at Emory University Hospital by her father Bobby Brown following reports he may have had something to do with her current state.

Nick was left heartbroken after he discovered Bobbi - the daughter of the late Whitney Houston - face down, unconscious, in a bathtub at their home in Georgia over a month ago.

The brunette beauty is currently fighting for her life in a coma but seems to be showing small signs of improvement.
