Peter Andre conquered fear because of kids

Peter Andre's children helped him conquer his fear of heights.

The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker has revealed his 10-year-old son Junior and seven-year-old daughter Princess - who he has with ex-wife Katie Price - encouraged him to face his fear by getting him to go zip wiring with them.

Speaking about their recent holiday to Marbella, Spain, he said: "The weather was awesome so we did lots of swimming and messing around in the pool. We played games and I took the kids out for nice dinners, they played on the beach, collected shells and went for walks - it was amazing. I spent the day with Bista [Princess] and Junior zip wiring too."

When quizzed about his fear of heights, Pete added: "I was, but the kids love it and I wanted to do something fun for them. I tried to take them zip wiring three years ago but my fear of heights got the better of me, so this time around I was determined to conquer my fear. Every time I felt myself having a wobbly moment, I reminded myself that I was doing it because I can and it's all in the mind. It turned out to be great fun. You could say Junior and Princess helped me conquer my fear."

The 42-year-old star's fiancee Emily MacDonagh, 25, and their 16-month-old daughter Amelia also joined them on holiday for a couple of days and he was relieved the little girl settled well on their flight.

He explained to Britain's OK! magazine: "This was only short haul so she was OK, but when we took her to Zanzibar last year she required a bit more attention. Flying with a baby is difficult but you learn little ways to distract them."
