Blake Lively 'uses kung fu' to achieve red carpet look

Blake Lively turns to "kung fu" to achieve her flawless red carpet look.

The 27-year-old actress is impeccably dressed when promoting her movies but according to husband Ryan Reynolds, there's always lots of behind-the-scenes drama involved.

Speaking during an AOL Build talk, Ryan - who welcomed their daughter, James, in December 2014 - shared: "I see a totally destroyed closet, bedroom and kitchen . . . I don't even know how shoes got in the freezer . . . There's kung fu involved. It's really intense."

Meanwhile, Blake claimed recently that she got more "respect" when she had brown hair.

The blonde star, who darkened her locks to star in 'The Green Lantern' in 2011, argued people treated her differently depending on the colour of her hair.

She said: "I loved having brown hair. You feel different.

"I also felt different as a redhead. People treat you differently.

"Honestly, people respect you more with brown hair.

"They're a little goofier with you, a little zanier, when you have red hair."

The 'Age of Adeline' actress also admitted she enjoyed the feeling of being pregnant, despite having to wear much bigger gowns to conceal her bump for the first few months.

She said: "It was fun to be pregnant and to feel like I could own my womanhood."
