Scott Eastwood's 'peaceful' surf

Scott Eastwood feels at "peace" in the water.

The 'Longest Ride' star has revealed he enjoys heading out surfing as it is a paparazzi-free zone.

Speaking about being in the water, he said: "It's so peaceful. You're alone with your thoughts and can get away from the bulls**t in your life - and there's no paparazzi, unlike at the beach."

And the 29-year-old actor - who is the son of legendary movie star and director Clint Eastwood - also revealed his ideal woman would be a lover of surfing too.

He told Germany's Glamour magazine: "There are so many great secluded spots and I've managed to see a lot of them - in Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua ...

"For me, the best beach is one where it's just me and my dream woman. I'm not sure who she is, as I haven't met her yet. But she loves the sea just as much as I do. And: she doesn't take her mobile phone to the beach."

Meanwhile, Scott previously revealed his hobby has a big effect on the places he chooses to live.

He said: "I live in San Diego, I'm a surfer and I like the outdoors and I do a lot of fishing and outdoor stuff, and LA's just really not for me ...

"I lived out there [in Australia] when I was about 20-years-old - so almost 10 years ago. I lived in the Gold Coast, I lived right on Burleigh Heads, and right out in between Coolangatta for a little bit and down in Manly [in Sydney], Manly Beach. So I was sort of all over, and I just sort of chased the surf for a while."
