Travis Barker pays tribute to DJ AM

Travis Barker has paid tribute to DJ AM on the sixth anniversary of his death.

DJ AM - real name Adam Goldstein - died from a suspected accidental overdose on August 28 2009 and Blink-182 drummer Travis posted a sweet message on his Instagram along with a picture of them both together.

The message read: "Been 6 years, not a day goes by I don't miss my homie, my mentor, one of my favorite people to who have ever rocked the stage with and somebody who made me a better person. We went thru so much together ... The highest of highs and the lowest of lows....you were one in a million. Rest in power Adam I love you, till we rock again.... #DjAMFOREVER (sic)."

In 2008, Travis and Adam were the only survivors of a plane crash which killed four people, including Travis' assistant and security guard.

Both were critically injured in the private plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina.

The twin-engine private Learjet overran the runway during take-off and skidded through a perimeter fence.

It then caught fire and both men were reportedly left with extensive burns.
