Channing Tatum needs looks

Channing Tatum isn't a "good enough actor" not to rely on his body for roles.

The 'Magic Mike XXL' star wishes he could give up working out for good, but knows he needs to stay in shape as he is often relied on to go shirtless on screen.

He said: "Honestly, I am not that good enough an actor that I can never take my shirt off again in a movie, so yes, I will be working out again.

"Believe me, I'd like to be. And I really have to always keep on top of it."

Channing - who has two-year-old daughter Everly with wife Jenna Dewan Tatum - is grateful he enjoys sport so much as there is a "fat kid inside" him who loves gorging on calorific treats.

He added: "I have a fat kid inside of me. Thank god I liked sports. I like to eat.

"I like beer and pizza and fries and burgers and just losing myself in that. Cheetos. A big bag of Cheetos, oh man... I'm done.

"I was this really skinny little kid but you reach that age where it creeps up really fast."

The 35-year-old hunk found it particularly tough watching the 'Magic Mike XXL' crew gorging on junk food while he was sticking to a strict diet.

He told heat magazine: "What I found the hardest was being on set while the crew were going at craft services.

"Like, those people kill me on set.

"They eat all the stuff in front of you and are staring at you while they're doing it. It was torture.

"I thought bad things about them. The people eating, not the food."
