Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer and Paul Rudd were among the famous faces spotted during the Super Bowl ad breaks.

'Deadpool' actor Ryan played a number of versions of himself - including a construction worker, a dog walker

and a police officer - in a commercial for Hyundai, which highlighted the vehicle's auto-emergency braking system.

Meanwhile, Amy and Seth teamed up to lead the Bud Light political party, which aimed to unite the country in honour of beer.

Seth said: "We've got the biggest caucus in the country."

Amy replied: "But it's not too big, you can handle it."

Paul also had a cameo in the commercial, as well as reprising his tiny super hero role for a Coca-Cola 'Ant-Man Vs Hulk' advertisement.

Jeff Goldblum took a crane up the side of a New York apartment building in a controversial ad for Apartment.com, which some critics have deemed racist as it also featured Lil' Wayne cooking for former slave owner George Washington.

Amazon Echo produced an ad crammed with famous faces including Missy Elliott, Alec Baldwin, Dan Marino and Jason Schwartzman.

Other famous faces appearing during the commercial breaks of the NFL Championship Game yesterday (07.02.16), which saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers, included Dame Helen Mirren, who was promoting Budweiser, Steven Tyler, who plugged skittles, and Drake and Steve Harvey for T-Mobile.
