Coleen Nolan's son "always" tries to kiss her on the lips.

The TV presenter has revealed her youngest child, Rixton frontman Jake Roche - who is engaged Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson - attempts to giver her a full-on sneaky smooch to say goodbye, but she rejects his jokey behaviour because she believes lips are for "proper kissing".

The 50-year-old star said: "I can't kiss them on the lips.

"Jake winds me up now, when he's saying goodbye he always goes to kiss me on the lips. And I go, 'What are you doing' He goes, 'What? I'm kissing you on the lips, you're my mum.'

"Now he's got a fiancee, girlfriend, he knows what the lips are for - proper kissing."

Coleen admitted that she would much prefer to smooch a male pal than her son.

Speaking on talk show 'Loose Women', she added: "I would kiss a male friend on the lips but not my older sons, not my boys. Shane is 27 and Jake is 23."

This topic arose on the programme after reality TV star Sam Faiers' partner Paul Knightley was seen kissing his mother Gaynor on the lips on reality TV show, 'Sam Faiers Baby Diaries'.
