Katie Holmes rules out Dawson's Creek reunion

Katie Holmes doesn't think a 'Dawson's Creek' reunion would work.

The 37-year-old actress found fame on the teen drama but has no desire to revisit it because she thinks it would be difficult to recapture the elements which made it such a success.

She told 'Today': "When I look back at the show, it had a certain charm. It was before the Internet really took over, it was before iPhones, it was before this kind of new form of communication, and it had this certain feeling that was of the Nineties. I don't think that in today's world, you could achieve that same kind of feeling."

Katie's remarks come a few months after Joshua Jackson, who played her boyfriend Pacey Witter in the TV series, gave his idea for a reunion.

When asked if there was a possibility of a reunion, he said: "Well, that depends, [our show creator] Kevin Williamson would have to ask. People always forget that Michelle Williams' Jen character was killed off, so they really need to figure out a way around that.

"I guess she could come back as a ghost, or they could do it like Dallas did and have someone wake up and find her alive in the shower 20 years later. That could work!"
