Twiggy keen to make acting return

Twiggy is keen to return to acting.

The 66-year-old star, whose real name is Lesley Lawson, has revealed she is eager to work in front of the camera once more, but has remained tight-lipped about any roles she may have been offered.

Asked if she would act again, she said: "Yeah, we're working on a few ideas. It's harder because I'm older, so I get offered things that aren't really what I want. But there are a couple of projects of my own that I would love to do."

Twiggy made the transition to acting in 1971, starring in Ken Russell's movie 'The Boy Friend'.

The Brit - who won two Golden Globes for her on-screen performance - also revealed she is a huge admirer of another model who has made the same career move, Agyness Deyn, who starred in 'Clash of the Titans'.

She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "She's sweet and very down-to-earth. We went to the Met Ball together in 2009. Burberry sponsored us to go and they dressed us. I wore - guess what? - a man's black tuxedo.

"I said to Chris [Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey]: 'Look, there are going to be dresses, each bigger and better, so I want to go in a tux.' I was probably the most comfortable person there that night."
