Elizabeth Olsen isn't as 'cool' as sisters

Elizabeth Olsen isn't "remotely as cool" as her sisters.

The 'Captain America: Civil War' star thinks actresses-turned-fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have "impeccable" taste and because she doesn't have the same petite body type as they do, she doesn't have as much choice when it comes to her own wardrobe.

She said: "They have impeccable taste and what they make is mind-blowing. I'm not remotely as cool as either of them and I often feel like I don't have as many options clothing-wise as they are very petite."

Despite appearing at ease at red carpet events, the 27-year-old star often feels uncomfortable in busy places and will try to make an excuse in order to avoid crowds.

She admitted: "I feel a lot of anxiety in crowds but I try to challenge it. The last big event I went to was a monster truck show for my friend's birthday. I was thinking of excuses not to go but I ended up having the best time."

Elizabeth doesn't worry about getting older because she enjoys getting to know herself better and feeling more sure of her choices.

Asked if she worries about getting older, she said: "No. I like ageing - I know a 27 year old saying that is kind of annoying but I've always enjoyed getting older.

"You make smarter choices, you know who you are and what you stand for. It's exciting."

And the 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' actress thinks there is an increasing amount of pressure on younger women because of the rise of social media.

She told ELLE magazine: "With social media, there's this need to be constantly seen and approved by others.

"Everyone is their own publicist and it's such a self-aware world. For young girls there's a pressure to create an image of yourself, which might not be reflective of what you're dealing with internally. I find that scary."
