Actress Naomi Watts says her acting has suffered since having kids

Since she became a mother, actress Naomi Watts, has revealed her acting has suffered in the process due to having to juggle her duties.

The star opened up in an interview with Blackbook magazine where she talks about her becoming a parent and the effects it had on her career.

Since becoming a mother, the Oscar nominee confessed her sons Alexander 'Sasha' Pete, two, and 16- month-old Samuel Kai are the reason her career has taken a different path.

The "King Kong" star returned to work just weeks after giving birth to son Samuel, in December 2008, and shot new drama "Mother and Child."

But Watts fears she's coming up short on both aspects of her life.

Watts, 41 said, "Every single day, I second-guess myself as a mother. I chose to be a mum. It's something I've always wanted, but I feel torn between two worlds.

"I am not reaching the same depths and heights that I used to reach in movies because I'm a parent of two small children who desperately need me. It's frustrating because I feel like I'm failing a bit on both ends."

However, Watts said she and fiancé Live Schreiber weren't adverse to some day adding to their family and insisted she felt 'comfortable in chaos.'

She added: "I would love to have an endless brood of children."

The pair aren't ruling out adoption either. She adds, "Whether or not I'll ever adopt remains to be seen, but I totally believe in adoption."
