Kristen Stewart goes topless in the first trailer for 'On the Road.'
In what appears to be yet another bid to break away from the tween following of the 'Twilight' franchise, the debut trailer has surfaced with K-Stew in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's cult novel, 'On the Road'. And in an attempt to shake off the Bella Swan image, Kristen gets her gear off.
We're definitely pleased to say that the nudity is not gratuitous (although it certainly hasn't hurt the film's trailer in making headlines), as Kristen -- who plays Marylou in the film -- is seen riding topless alongside co-stars Garrett Hedlund (who plays her husband Dean Moriarty in the film) and Sam Riley (who playsSal Paradise).
Watch the trailer for 'On the Road'While the topless scene is garnering the most hype for the film so far, other A-List stars to grace the cast include Kristen Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Steve Buscemi, Terence Howard and Elisabeth Moss.
Dean (Garret Hedlund) and Sal (Sam Riley) are the portrait of the Beat Generation in 'On the Road.' Their search for "It," alongside Dean's wife Marylou (Stewart), results in a fast paced, energetic roller coaster ride throughout the U.S.

'On the Road' isn't the first wild child character move for the Kristen, whose previous film credits include 'The Runaways,' a Joan Jett biopic, and also 'Welcome to the Rileys,' in which Kristen plays a teenage stripper turned prostitute.
Kristen's other upcoming move away from her 'Twilight' tag is 'Snow White and The Huntsman,' which releases locally on June 21.
In the 'Huntsman' Kristen plays a dark, Joan-of-Arc-style Snow White alongside Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman. Charlize Theron is set to create a malevolent explosion as the Evil Queen.

ReplyOnce again, crappy journalism Yahoo, it's not bad enough that 8 of the top 10 news feed is always celebrity tabloid gossip instead of important things happening around the world but to actually get the author (read, legendary author) of one of the all time classic american novels of the 20th century is simply boneheaded journalism at it's worse...
