The 4-year-old has been cast in Angelina Jolie's upcoming fairy tale flick, 'Maleficent', as the younger version of Princess Aurora, Disney has confirmed. Elle Fanning plays the grownup 'Sleeping Beauty' princess in the movie, which focuses on the villainous queen and how she got to become so evil.The little girl and her twin brother Knox were spotted on the Buckinghamshire, England, set back in June, watching their Oscar-winning mother as she filmed a scene decked out in a long cape, facial prosthetics, and with giant horns coming out of her head.

"It's a really great script and I'm having a lot of fun," Jolie said in March of the Disney movie. "My kids are very happy." And so is the actress. The iconic fairytale "is not anti-princess, but it's the first time they're looking at this epic woman [in a different way]," she explained. "I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn't mean she can't have other [warmer] qualities. You have to figure out the puzzle of what she is."Vivienne is not the first Jolie-Pitt child to act in one of mum or dad's movies.
