When Hathaway was asked backstage at the Oscars if people teasing her about being "earnest and professional" got to her, she answered: "It does get to me."So much so, it would appear, that she even practised her Oscars acceptance speech to make her more 'likeable'. This according to Us Weekly. "She was very aware that she had been the butt of everyone's jokes," a source told the magazine.

In other Oscar winner news, it would appear that Ben Affleck's awards season lucky charm -- his beard -- has gone by the wayside. Yes, it's not normally an event worth writing home about, unless of course you can't wait to get home to shave it off.The actor/director/producer sported the additional facial hair since filming "Argo" in 2011, his Best Picture Oscar winning US-Iranian hostage drama.Word has it the shedding of facial hair took place at a private party at Craig's in Los Angeles (also the venue of the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after party). "It took place in the hallway," a source told omg!. "The family wanted him to shave."Here's hoping the clean-faced Affleck will continue his return to movie glory!Related: Anne Hathaway in the Oscars press room
