Qld town remembers Oscar-winner Miller

(AAP - 27 Feb) Oscar winner George Miller's love of cinema was born in a small picture theatre in the Queensland country town of Chinchilla. In between games of cowboys and indians and horse riding, the young boy first glimpsed the magic of movies that would take him to Hollywood and to Academy Awards glory. There was a feeling of pride in Chinchilla after 61-year-old Miller's Oscar win for his animated feature Happy Feet.. Full Story
