The actress sheds her space suit following her calamitous space walk, revealing just her pants for a portion of the movie.
But it appears that she wasn't really up for it.
"I worked out hard for this movie, I had to because there is a lot of me on show," she told The Sun."I had a few arguments about the scenes where I'm basically in my underwear with pants that don't even cover my bottom!
"I'm flying away from the camera so my butt is in people's faces a lot. I mean, why is that necessary?"
The discrepancy, in terms of on-screen authenticity, was noted at the time of the film's release."Inside our space suit, we're wearing… a Halloween costume, which is a liquid cooling garment,” Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield told TV host Conan O'Brien.
"And we're wearing… kind of pull-up diapers. You come out and you've been sweating in there for eight hours, your hair looks like rat fur… you do not look like an underwear model.”
Irrespective of accuracy, she's still up for the Best Actress BAFTA at this year's awards, fighting it out with Dame Judi Dench, Emma Thompson, Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett.
We'll find out whether she scoops the gong Monday morning, although our money is with Cate Blanchett for 'Blue Jasmine.'
