ROBIN WILLIAMS: MY MOST UNFORGETTABLE CELEBRITY INTERVIEW

I've always looked up to Robin Williams. I loved him in 'Mrs. Doubtfire', I loved him in 'Jack', I loved him in many other movies I watched on repeat as a child in the 90s.

Who could forget the time he set his fake boobs on fire and put them out with pot lids? Or his ability to brilliantly play a boy trapped in the body of a man four times his age?

And so it was one day in 2011 that I finally had a chance to meet the man who inspired much of my love of laughter, Robin Williams. I was given the opportunity to interview him for 'Happy Feet 2,' the animated film made here in Sydney, Australia.

I won’t go into too much detail here, except suffice to say that to this day, after countless interviews with many Hollywood actors and directors, his is still one of my favorites.

PICS: Robin's most memorable roles

I was running out of time, and down to my final question in what felt like a fairly run-of-the-mill interview. Little did I know that my final question — a simple, "Given your prolific career, where do you see yourself in 10 years time?" — would be the winning one.

Remembering Robin Williams: His best on-screen moments

I was treated — as were Dr. George Miller and the crew on the junket that day — to a front row seat watching a two minute, stream-of-consciousness piece that Robin had built his career around.

Sadly, it’s made more poignant by the loss of the man today — he foretold his own passing and how he would live on forever in digital form.

While this is true, I can only say that I’m grateful to have had that opportunity with the man himself, to have shared a small moment in time that I will always treasure as a beloved, astounding memory.

Vale, Mr. Williams, you will be sadly missed.
