Amy Schumer on 'Trainwreck' Shooting in Louisiana: 'My Heart Is Broken

Amy Schumer expressed her deep condolences on Twitter shortly after police confirmed that three people were shot and killed at a movie theatre screening her film Trainwreck in Lafayette, Louisiana in the U.S..

“My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana,” she wrote on Twitter.

Police said the unidentified gunman–described as an older, white male– opened fired during the 7 p.m. screening of Trainwreck at the Grand 16 Theater. He later shot and killed himself.

Seven people have been hospitalised in Lafayette –- three of which suffered critical injuries.
