Mark Ruffalo teases Cate Blanchett's role in Thor: Ragnarok

Mark Ruffalo has teased details about Cate Blanchett's villainous role in 'Thor: Ragnarok'.

The 48-year-old actor - who portrays the Hulk in the Marvel movie - has revealed Hela, the daughter of the God of Mischief Loki - played by Cate - is "so evil".

He said: "She plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. It's such a great part she gets to play."

Speaking about what is in store for his character, he added to Entertainment Tonight: "I think it will be smashing. You'll see a lot more Hulk ... The Hulk gets Hulk-ier. The Hulk Hulks out. Hulk-ier and bigger."

And Taika Waititi, the director of the film, has revealed it will have a "fresh style of humour".

He said: "My strength in this is bringing my style of humour, which is probably a very different style of humour. They've had good jokes in them before, but I think where I come from is maybe a fresher style. It could just shake the entire thing up a bit.

"I'm like the new kid in class. They're really cool people. I've already made some great friends, and everyone wants to make the best story possible ... [It's] more collaborative than I think people probably expect. It's not just one person ordering everyone around. It's people discussing and saying, 'What if it was like this' or 'I don't think it should be like that', which is very healthy. And it's actually what I'm used to, coming from theatre and co-ops and collaborating."

Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston - who plays Loki - previously appeared to suggest the film would be his last outing as the villain.

He said: 'Thor 3' will be cool because I've not done it for four years. I love working with Chris. This will be my last time out of the gate. I don't know [if I'll be in 'The Avengers: Infinity War']. Honestly, I don't know. They haven't got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along."
