Sacha Baron Cohen finally set to wed Isla Fisher

After one of the longest engagements in Hollywood history, it is reported that comedian and actor, Sacha Baron Cohen and actress, Isla Fisher are due to marry some time this month.

It is believed the couple have sent out party invites to around eighty guests asking them to keep February 26 free, however, the notices do not contain any further information and in following the footsteps of many other Hollywood couples heading down the alter, they booked several possible venues in the UK in a bid to keep the actual location of the ceremony secret.

A source told The Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Sacha and Isla are throwing a party. They have asked everyone to come in fancy dress. They haven't told anyone it's a wedding but that's what we all suspect."

Last night a spokesman for Baron Cohen, insisted the pair had no plans to wed, while Isla's publicist declined to comment.

The couple who have been an item for eight years and have a two-year-old daughter, Olive, together, were due to wed in August 2006 in Italy but called it off as Fisher had not completed her Judaism studies.

Sacha's mother Danielle is said to be delighted that Isla has converted to Judaism and taken the Hebrew name Ayala.

"The Wedding Crashers" star said "I love religions and find them fascinating and I find Judaism very beautiful. It has enriched my life enormously."

Cohen will be sparing no expense and has allocated a budget of £40,000 for the occasion, planned for the day after the Feast of Esther, a traditional day of fasting in the Jewish calendar.
