Often game actors turn up to collect their awards at the alternative Oscars, which celebrate the worst films of the year, but it's not known whether any of the film's stars will pitching up.

Meanwhile across the pond the BAFTAs (aka the British Academy of Film awards) have announced their nominees for this years' awards.
'Lincoln', the story of US President Abraham Lincoln's mission to abolish slavery, scored a whopping 10 nods, including best film , actor (for Daniel Day-Lewis), supporting actor (for Tommy-Lee Jones) and supporting actress (for Sally Field). Surprisingly director Steven Spielberg was overlooked for best director.
Films 'Les Miserables' and 'Life of Pi' both scored nine nominations, while 'Skyfall', the 22nd installment of the James Bond franchise, scored a surprisingly eight nods.
Aussie actor Hugh Jackman received a nod for Best Actor in the 'Les Mis' swag of nominations.
